In February 2024 Hilton and Autocamp announced a partnership to offer elevated outdoor lodging experiences. Beginning in May 2024 Autocamp can be booked directly via the Hilton platforms and members are able to earn and redeem points for Autocamp. Autocamp. Autocamp offers luxury airstream and outdoor glamping in campground style resorts. Currently Autocamp has 8 locations throughout the United States, with a new location set to open in Hill County, Tx. In this review we stayed at Autocamp Cape Cod. Autocamp Cape Cod is located in Falmouth, Massachusetts. Autocamp Cape Cod is perfectly located between the Cape Cod beaches and downtown Falmouth. Also within a short distance is the ability to board the ferry going to Martha’s Vineyard.

First Impressions

Upon checking in you are welcomed to a modern, open-air lobby. The lobby offers an extensive market where you can grab all your camping essentials, a beautiful seating area with a fireplace where you can unwind and take advantage of the complimentary board games the Autocamp offers for guest use. There are complimentary trollies capable of hauling baggage from your vehicle to your Airstream or cabin. During our stay, we stayed in the 31’ Luxury Airstream. The Hilton Honors redemption cost approximately 60,000 Hilton Honors points for one night.

The airstream came full stocked with dinnerware and cookware that allows you to get outside and enjoy the experience of cooking over an open fire. When first entering the airstream, you immediately notice the modern amenities. The kitchen consists of a small sink and prep area. The living room is connected to the kitchen and offered a lantern and Bluetooth speaker for guest use. The bathroom inside of the airstream was a great size for an airstream with a large stand up shower, fresh towels and stocked with soap. The bedroom was tight in size, which is expected for an airstream and offered a small television for guests to enjoy to unwind. There is wi-fi throughout the Autocamp property.

In And Around The Campsite

Outside, at your own campsite, you had plenty of seating and a table, as well as an outdoor fire pit with grates to cook over. You must purchase wood directly in the reception area of the hotel due to town laws that do not permit you to burn your own wood. The price for a bundle of wood was a bit steep coming in at $19/bundle. The front desk does have complimentary fire starters, however. If you are unable to start your fire, an Autocamp team member will assist in getting your fire started. Each guest is offered a complimentary two-hour bike rental. The Autocamp is off of an 11-mile bike path that connects downtown Falmouth, North Falmouth, four of Falmouth’s villages and all the way to Woods Hole. The Autocamp is perfectly located in the middle of the bike path, allowing you to explore either direction very easily. If traveling in an electric vehicle (EV) there are two complimentary DC chargers and a single Tesla Destination Charger available on a first come first serve basis.

Overall, the Autocamp offers a unique experience to Hilton Honors guests who are used to a traditional hotel. The Autocamp allows guests to get into nature and explore. The staff at Autocamp Cape Cod were nothing short of hospitable. The property was comfortable and a nice break from the traditional hotel experience. If in search for a property that is off the beaten path, is close to the outdoors, yet offers creature comforts like running water etc. look no further than Autocamp.
