The aircraft are configured a 3-class layout; 20 First Class, 42 Comfort+ and 132 in the main cabin totaling 194 seats. Each seat is equipped with inflight entertainment, power ports and high-speed Wi-Fi. Immediately upon boarding there is a large feeling of space in the aircraft. Additionally, the blue mood lighting set a calming mood for the early morning.ย

Approaching our seat, we were taken back on how unique the seat setup is. Upon sitting down, we are greeted by a massive screen and more storage than any other aircraft we have flown to date. During the boarding process many passengers made positive comments about the aircraft as well as the first-class seats. Right before pushback the captain stepped back to do his preflight messages, he also spoke about the new aircraft and was enthusiastic about it. After takeoff, breakfast and drink orders were taken. This gave us some time to check out the seat features.

Final Approach

Deltaโ€™s A321neo has lived up to all of the hype. The seats were very comfortable thanks to the memory foam. The cocoon-like headrests provided great privacy from your seatmate however, it is not as private as a suite found on long haul aircraft. Storage was great with space for electronics, books and more. To top things off the crew was great and attentive throughout the flight. When booking take a look out for the Delta Air Lines A321neo and try their latest innovative product.
