Those in Canada now have more options to escape the cold winter weather. WestJet has announced their winter schedule along with new routes. New routes include flights from St. John’s to Calgary and destinations throughout Florida. WestJet will commence service from Toronto to the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire. As with WestJet’s Summer schedule, many routes see post pandemic resumptions.
Growth At St. John’s International Airport
At a special event at St. John’s International Airport, WestJet announced a handful of routes which includes nonstop weekly service to WestJet hub Calgary (YYC). Additional routes from Saint John’s include:
- Orlando (MCO) 1x weekly seasonal.
- Tampa (TPA) 1x weekly seasonal.
