Virgin Group is expanding their hotel portfolio with the opening of the Son Bunyola luxury hotel property in Mallorca. The hotel has 26 rooms and suites. There are two Tower Suites offering views of the mountains and sea. One of the towers previously served as a defense tower back in mid evil times. Two restaurants are on property including a Mediterranean and tapas restaurant. Starting prices are expected to be around €600 per night by booking on the Virgin Limited Edition website. Virgin Red members from the UK can be entered to win a four night stay at the Son Bunyola.
A Growing Portfolio Of Hotels
Virgin Group is expanding their portfolio of hotels across various markets. Two separate brands of hotels include Virgin Limited Edition and Virgin Hotels. Virgin Limited Editions consist of unique properties in exquisite locations including, Sir Richard Branson’s Necker island and Moskito Island in the British Virgin Islands. Malhali Mzuri, a tented safari camp in Kenya and the Ulusaba Private Game Reserve are some other unique properties in the Virgin Limited Edition portfolio. Virgin Hotels launched their own luxury lifestyle brand, Virgin Hotels with locations in Chicago, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Nashville, New Orleans and New York. In Las Vegas the recently opened Virgin Hotels is paired with a full casino managed by Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment. Virgin Limited Edition Son Bunyola is one of many hotels in the pipeline for the Virgin Group.
