United Airlines is betting big on pacific expansions. United will begin flights to Manilla Philippines becoming the first US airline to operate nonstop from the United States to Manilla. The route will operate daily from San Francisco (SFO). United will also launch Los Angles to Hong Kong (HKG). In addition to United’s previous pacific expansion announcement, many destinations will see increased frequencies.
A Strong Asia Pacific Network
United Airlines is resuming many popular Asian destinations that have seen service terminations during the pandemic. Beginning October 28, daily service from Los Angles to Tokyo Narita will resume on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This will provide passengers the opportunity to fly into either Tokyo Narita or Tokyo Haneda. Taipei will see increased frequencies from San Francisco. Flights from the US to Australia and New Zealand will see an increace to 66 weekly flights. Tickets are now bookable on United.com.
