United Airlines has expanded their international route network for summer 2023. United Airlines will fly to 114 international destinations this summer to meet the large increase in demand for international travel. Over 25 routes will be brand new with many current routes seeing an increase of frequencies. For example, over two dozen United Airlines flights will operate out of London Heathrow (LHR) including a second daily flight from Los Angeles to London Heathrow on a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. Other destinations such as Boston (BOS) and Denver (DEN) will also see increased frequencies to London. According to a recent press release from United Airlines, this most recent international expansion will increase their total flights and routes by 25%. In addition to the expansion United Airlines has partnered with Emirates Airline offering nonstop flights from Newark (EWR) to Dubai (DXB). International travel has seen pre pandemic levels of travel as many countries ease covid restrictions and welcome back airlines and passengers.
