Fast forward to 2025, Robinson has unveiled their newest (and largest) helicopter to date the R88.
A Versatile Multi Use Platform
Since the inception of the helicopter, its role has been highly versatile and borderline utilitarian. The Robinson R88 will fill a wide variety of missions such as aerial firefighting, medical evac, passenger transport and more. The helicopter will feature a highly adapable interior making it possible to reconfigure the cabin to support various mission requirements. Power to the helicopter will be provided by Safran Helicopter Engines’ Arriel 2W engine offering a hefty 1,000-shaft horse-power single engine.
