Canadian ultra low cost carrier Lynx Air will begin operating flights from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) to Boston beginning March 28, 2024. Additionally Lynx Air will begin operating to San Francisco International Airport (SFO) from Toronto starting May 3, 2024. With the new destinations, Lynx will operate more than 10,000 seats weekly between Toronto and The United States.

Vijay Bathija, Chief Commercial Officer of Lynx Air had the following remarks on the new route announcement, “Our strategy is to fly to destinations where airfares are historically high, and low-cost options are limited.” Interim CEO and Aviation Director Ed Freni of Massport shared his thoughts on the expansion, “This new route to Toronto will give our passengers more options for both business and leisure travel to Canada.”
The new routes will operate with the following schedule:
Toronto (YYZ)
- Boston (BOS) – Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday. March 2024.
- Increases Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Sunday. April 2024.
- San Francisco (SFO) Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Sunday May 2024.
- Increases Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday. June 2024.
