A Growing Regional Fleet
Envoy Air is a wholly owned regional subsidiary of American Airlines Group who also owns wholly owed regional subsidiary Piedmont Airlines. Envoy Air has been making changes to their fleet following the coronavirus pandemic, including the retirement of single class Embraer E140 and E145 regional jets. The new aircraft will allow Envoy Air to upgrade many routes and or to replace current regional operators on some routes. From the passenger’s perspective, the new aircraft will offer comfortable 2 by 2 seating, First Class, Main Cabin Extra and Economy as well as satellite based Wi-Fi. Deliveries are expected to commence later this year.
