Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer is having a growth spurt of epic proportions. Embraer reported a 46% increase in deliveries for second quarter 2023. Embraer secured commercial orders with American Airlines regional operator Envoy Air as well as orders from middle eastern carrier Royal Jordanian. According to Embraer, the order backlog currently reaches a total value $17.3 Billion USD.
Growth Across Embraer’s Product Line
Embraer is seeing growth across both the commercial and private aviation market. In 2023 so far there have been 24 commercial orders consisting of 12 E175 and 12 E195-E2 aircraft. A total of 13 executive jets have been delivered this year with an additional 62 orders on the orderbook. NetJets has announced an order for up to 250 Praetor 500 executive jets with deliveries expected to begin in 2025. As demand for travel is soaring, aircraft manufacturers are expanding their production lines to meet the increased demand.
