Element Salt Lake City Downtown By Westin celebrates a milestone for the Marriott brand opening their 100th hotel in downtown Salt Lake City Utah. The property celebrates many firsts in Utah including the first duel branded property as well as the first Le Méridien in the state. The hotel is located in the west quarter, a new mixed use development located only 6 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport and 30 miles from major ski resorts. Azul Hospitality group will be managing the duel property. The Element Salt Lake City Downtown offers 126 rooms equipped with full sized kitchens, large bathrooms and floor to ceiling windows. The adjoining Le Méridien offers 144 rooms featuring custom made décor and emerald tiled showers. Guests staying at the Element have a complimentary daily Rise breakfast and direct access to free, farm-fresh produce and herbs through a partnership with Lettuce Grow. There are 2 restaurants on property, Adelaide an urban brasserie and a rooftop restaurant named Van Ryder. As this is a Marriott duel branded property guests enjoy Marriott Bonvoy rewards for their stay. Expect more hotel brands to emerge in 2023 and beyond as the hospitality industry rebounds.
