Delta Air Lines has opened it’s first dedicated check in area for Delta One passengers at Las Angeles International Airport (LAX). This area will be exclusively for those flying on a Delta One Ticket. Delta One is the airlines most premium international offering which includes a fully flat bed, premium meals and complimentary Sky Club access. Flying out of LAX on Delta One now offers a dedicated check in area separated from the main hustle and bustle of the terminal. The exclusive area is located on the lower arrivals level of Terminal 3.
A Bespoke Space
Immediately upon entering the Delta One check-in area, elite service agents will provide white glove service. Amenities include refreshing towels as well as light snacks and beverages. A dedicated TSA checkpoint is located within the space so passengers can breeze through security. Past the security checkpoint is direct access into the Delta Sky Club which recently saw an expansion following a multimillion dollar renovation of Terminal 3. In a recent press release Scott Santoro VP of Global Sales for Delta had this to say on the space, “We’re building on our position as LAX’s leading premium global carrier and achieving yet another infrastructure milestone ahead of schedule – enabling an ever-elevated travel journey for our Los Angeles customers.” A dedicated Delta One lounge is in the pipeline for JFK in 2024. LAX may follow suit in the near future.
