Delta Air Lines has resumed daily nonstop flights between New York JFK and London Gatwick after a 15 year hiatus. Flights will depart New York at around 11PM and arrive into London Gatwick around 12PM the next day. Delta will operate the route using retrofitted Boeing 767-300 aircrafts with a refreshed interior including a new premium select cabin. All Delta flights between London Gatwick and New York JFK will be operated in conjunction with joint venture partners Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic. Virgin Atlantic previously operated out of Gatwick for many years but has since consolidated operations at London Heathrow following the coronavirus pandemic. Norse Atlantic Airways will begin operating the route in May 2023 while JetBlue currently operates the route daily.
