Breeze airways will be launching their own credit card in partnership with Barclays. While initial details are sparse, the airline markets the upcoming credit card as an “easy to earn and easy to burn” points based platform. Tom Doxey President of Breeze airways had this to say on the new credit card, “Barclays has a proven track record with major travel brands and this partnership is driven by our shared goal of advancing purposeful innovation. Together, we will provide an unparalleled range of experiences for our cardmembers.” Breeze Airways currently has a points program where passengers can earn a certain percentage of points per dollar depending on the fare class. Additional points can be earned for seat selection and baggage fees.
A New Growing Airline
Breeze Airways is seeing tremendous growth in both aircraft fleet and route network. The airline launched in 2021 and has since grown to over 35 destinations. There are over 32 aircraft in the fleet with a handful of new Airbus A220-300 aircraft on order. Not only has breeze launched a credit card, they have recently enhanced their first class product on the Airbus A220. More details on the Breeze Airways credit card should emerge in the coming months.
