Connecticut’s primary airport, Bradley International Airport (BDL) serves as a key city for Breeze Airways. The low cost carrier operates 14 routes out of Hartford including places like Charleston and Las Vegas. Two more destinations will soon join Breeze’s growing network out of Bradley International Airport, Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR) and Greenville Spartanburg International Airport (GSP).
Expanding Service Out Of Connecticut
Breeze Airways primary operates route pairings that other airlines do not fly. This includes recently announced two nonstop routes out of Hartford such as nonstop service to Cincinnati (CVG) and Orlando (MCO). Orlando is a bit different to breeze’s model as the route sees competition out of Hartford from Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest and Spirit. โSince we started flying from Hartford in May 2021, Breeze has continued to add desirable destinations to our rapidly growing footprint,โ said Breeze CEO and Founder David Neeleman. โThese two new additions to South Carolina will surely be welcomed as we bring efficient, affordable and elevated travel to more underserved markets.โ The new nonstop service to Greenville will begin May 24, 2024. while Myrtle Beach will begin May 2, 2024.
