Avelo Airlines has announced a massive expansion in Wilmington, Delaware (ILG) expanding from 5 to 14 destinations. In preparation for the expansion Avelo will base a second Boeing 737 on the airfield adding 35 additional jobs to the area. Currently Avelo operates nonstop flights from Wilmington to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW), Orlando (MCO), Tampa (TPA) and West Palm Beach (PBI). The new nonstop destinations from Wilmington, launch dates and frequencies will include:
- Charleston (CHS) June 23 Monday & Friday.
- Daytona Beach (DAB) June 23 Monday & Friday.
- Greenville Spartanburg (GSP) June 22 Thursday & Sunday.
- Melbourne Coca Beach (MLB) June 28 Wednesday & Saturday.
- Myrtle Beach (MYR) June 23 Monday, Friday & Saturday.
- Nashville (BNA) June 22 Thursday & Sunday.
- Raleigh Durham (RDU) June 22 Thursday & Sunday.
- Savannah Hilton Head (SAV) June 28 Wednesday & Saturday.
- Wilmington NC (ILM) June 22 Thursday & Sunday
