Avelo Airlines has announced Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) as the carrier’s sixth base. Avelo will base a single Boeing 737-700 in Vegas to start. The airport will be a base for pilots, flight attendants, maintenance and supervisors. New destinations have been released in addition to the Vegas base announcement.
A Growing Route Network
According to Avelo, over 68 routes spanning across 24 states will fill into the airlines growing network. Recently seven new destinations have been added throughout their network including Bozeman (BZN), Daytona (DAB), Greenville (GSP), Manchester (NHT), Melbourne (MLB), Memphis (MEM) and Rochester (ROC). In Las Vegas, Avelo currently operates weekly service to Sonoma Santa Rosa (STS). Starting September LAS-STS service will increase to 4 times weekly; Sunday, Monday, Thursday and Friday. Four new destinations from LAS launching September 2023 include:
- Brownsville (BRO) Monday & Friday.
- Eureka / Arcata (ACV) Monday & Friday.
- Dubuque (DBQ) Wednesday & Saturday.
- Redmond (RDM) Thursday & Sunday.
