Wisconsin will be Avelo Airlines 25th state added to their route network. Starting October 25th, Avelo will offer nonstop service from Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA) in Mosinee to Orlando International Airport (MCO). Flights will operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. As with other Avelo routes, flights will be operated on Boeing 737-700 and 800 series aircraft.
A Good Fit For Avelo
Central Wisconsin Airport fits in to Avelo’s operating model of flying to smaller easier to use airports to popular destinations. For example, Avelo operates out of Burbank (BUR) as opposed to the more crowded Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Many airports have not seen commercial air service prior to Avelo such as Wilmington, Delaware. Central Wisconsin Airport currently sees service to Chicago on American Airlines and service to Minneapolis on Delta Air Lines. Introductory fares to Orlando are as low as $49 and are bookable on Avelo’s website.
