Growing Demand For Rail In The Northeast
Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor (NEC) is one of the busiest rail networks in the country, connecting Boston to Washington DC with intermediate stops along the route. On the Northeast Regional, passengers can enjoy amenities like Wi-Fi, power outlets and a cafe car. Service at Princeton Junction is added citing increased demand. At Princeton Junction passengers can transfer across the platform to New Jersey Transit trains bound for Princeton University. Citing increased demand, additional trains will stop at New Brunswick Station. New Brunswick Station is within easy walking distance to Rutgers University and major companies. The station will award Amtrak passengers transfers to NJT rail and bus alone with University Shuttles. Tickets can be booked on Amtrak’s Website or by calling 1-800-USA-RAIL.
