American Airlines will be flying to a handful of new destinations starting summer 2024. Three new European destinations will be added From Philadelphia including Copenhagen (CPH) Nice (NCE) and Naples (NAP). American Airlines will also begin flying to Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) to Barcelona (BCN). Flights to Venice (VCE) from Chicago will see service resumptions following the coronavirus pandemic. Routes will be flown on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner Starting August 20, 2023 tickets will be bookable on AA.com.
The Largest European Expansion For In Four Years
American Airlines touts their Europeans expansion as their largest European expansion since 2014. In Philadelphia alone there will be a total of 15 nonstop destinations in Europe. Complimenting American’s expansion to Europe, the airline recently announced a large winter expansion to various sunny destinations in the United States, Caribbean and Mexico. The new routes to Europe will commence as follows:
- Copenhagen, Denmark (CPH) daily June 6, 2024.
- Naples, Italy (NAP) daily June 5, 2024.
- Nice, France (NCE) daily May 6, 2024
