Allegiant Air Announces 8 New Routes

Ultra Low Cost Carrier (ULCC) Allegiant Air has announced 9 new destinations to their growing route network. Allegiant Air will fly full and seasonal routes from Austin, Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix with limited introductory fares as low as $39. The new routes are expected to launch during this year’s summer and fall travel seasons. Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft are expected to fly the new routes. Allegiant has Boeing 737 Max aircraft on order and may assign them to the new routes once delivered. Allegiant Air aims at connecting many smaller underserved communities to larger population centers such as Las Vegas and Orlando. Many of Allegiants routes are aimed at Leisure travelers who are looking to not break the bank. The new routes and start dates are as follows:

  • Phoenix Sky Harbor (PHX)

    • Akron (CAK) June 1
  • Las Vegas (LAS)
    • Lexington (LEX) June 15
  • Las Angeles (LAX)
    • Sioux Falls (FSD) June 14
  • Chicago (MDW)
    • Provo (PVU) June 16
