The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic city has embarked on a 55 million dollar renovation as the resort and casino celebrates its 20th anniversary. The Water Club tower will see a complete rebrand into the MGM Tower. The renovation will include a top to bottom remodel of the buildings 700 guestrooms. A collection of luxury Vista Suites will be located in the corners of the tower offering a wraparound view of the Atlantic City beaches and skyline. The Vista Suites will feature an extra large living space with private bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dining area. The standard guest rooms will feature a bright and warm color pallet. According to MGM the design elements take inspiration from the Atlantic City marina district.
A Reimagined Hotel Tower
The MGM tower at The Borgata is slated for completion around memorial day with the first set of remodeled rooms welcoming guests this April. The 32nd floor will see a new 9,000 square foot event space which previously housed the immersion spa. Common areas such as hallways, elevator vestibules and the resort lobby will see Guest room corridors will be completely renovated as well.
