Airlines across the globe update their cabin interiors to keep their products as competitive as possible. Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS) has released renderings of their newest onboard products expected to debut beginning in 2025. SWISS calls the new cabin design SWISS Senses highlighting the more personalized experience in all cabin classes. The new product is expected to debut on Airbus A330-300s and Boeing 777-300ERs. Factory fresh Airbus A350s will have the new cabin already installed starting in 2025.
In the front of the aircraft will be the new SWISS First suites. The new suites will be equipped with a fully closable door, fully lie flat seat that is heated and air cooled as well as a personal wardrobe space. The seat will be equipped with a full size inflight entertainment screen spanning almost the entire width of the seat. The suite is able to accommodate two passengers sitting together. The redesigned Swiss Business cabin will feature various seating options including double seats for passengers sitting together. Every seat will be fully lie flat and have direct access to the isle. As with the First Suites, Business seats will have a fully closable door and will feature heated and air cooled seats. Wireless charging stations will be at every seat in addition to standard plug outlets.
Premium Economy will feature an entirely new seat design. The seat design will be the first type to launch across Lufthansa Group airlines. The SWISS Economy cabin will have newly designed seats that increase the current seat pitch. Every economy seat will feature a 13 inch touchscreen and a revamped inflight entertainment system. Each seat will have an amenity storage facility and USB power. SWISS brings a compelling offering to the very lucrative long haul market.
