Houston based low cost airline Avelo Airlines has announced 4 new routes comprising of 2 new destinations from Orlando International Airport (MCO) and 2 new destinations from Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR). Avelo will fly 3 times weekly to Colorado Springs (COS) and Brownsville South Padre Island International Airport (BRO) from their west coast hub in Burbank. Avelo will fly to Charlottesville (CHO) and Brownsville (BRO) twice weekly from Orlando International Airport (MCO). This grows the airlines route network to over 35 destinations. What makes these new additional unique is the fact that it will be the first time where Avelo’s route network will have an overlap in a destination from both the east and west coast. As new destines are added some have been terminated. Avelo has terminated all flights out Newport News Williamsburg Airport (PHF) after April 16th. As for the new routes, Avelo will fly Boeing 737-700s from Burbank and Boeing 737-800s from Orlando with the following schedule:
