American Airlines Adds Additional Flights To Barcelona And Vegas

American Airlines will be adding extra flights and larger aircraft to support a major mobile tech conference in Barcelona in February 2024. American will offer increased seat capacity to Barcelona (BCN) from Miami and New York JFK while also operating special service from Dallas Fort Worth (DFW). The extra flights will compliment the current year round service to BCN. American will offer over additional flights for over 60 different special events across the globe.

Special Flights To Vegas

In preparation for the 2024 Superbowl, American Airlines will also provide extra flights to Las Vegas (LAS) between February 8 – February 12 ,2024. The extra flights will operate out of Philadelphia (PHL) utilizing Boeing 787 Dreamliner widebody aircraft. Passengers flying out of New York JFK will have the unique opportunity to fly aboard the A321T featuring flagship first and business class lie flat seating. The specially configured A321T features 10 lie-flat Flagship First and 20 lie-flat Flagship Business seats. When departing from JFK, passengers in Flagship First will have access to the exclusive Chelsea Lounge while Flagship Business passengers can access the luxurious Greenwich Lounge. According to American, between February 8th to February 12th there will be more than 150 lie flat seats available to and from Vegas.

  • Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Feb. 23 – March 3 1x daily Boeing 787-9.
  • Miami (MIA) Feb. 22 – March 3 aircraft upgraded 1x daily Boeing 777-200.
  • New York (JFK) Feb.22 – March 3 aircraft upgraded to 1x daily Boeing 777-300.

Las Vegas (LAS)

  • Austin, (AUS) 4 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
  • Charlotte (CLT) 16 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
  • Chicago (ORD) 10 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
  • Dallas (DFW) 28 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
  • Los Angles (LAX) 10 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
  • Miami (MIA) 4 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
  • New York (JFK) 4 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
  • Philadelphia (PHL) 6 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
  • Phoenix (PHX) 10 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
  • Washington DC (DCA) 2 inbound flights between Feb. 8-9.
