A new luxury hotel and casino will be coming to Las Vegas in December 2023. This resort and casino however will be a bit different from the rest. One of the biggest differences, it will be off the Vegas strip yet only a short ride from Henry Reid Airport and the strip. Fontainebleau is set to begin operations starting December 13, 2023 pending regulatory approval. Once open, the property will have bragging rights as the tallest occupiable building in Vegas and Nevada. Vast Gaming Space
There will be over 150,000 square feet of gambling space on property featuring slots, table games and a full sportsbook. A high limit area will feature a lounge area with a VIP rooftop experience. Those wishing to gamble have the option to join Fontainebleau’s rewards program Fontainebleau Rewards. In addition to being a member of the Nevada Council on Problem Gambling and the National Council on Problem Gambling, guests can enroll in the Self-Limiting Program. The program allows guests to limit themselves from receiving issuance of credit, check cashing and direct mail marketing. Staff will also be trained on how to detect behaviors involving problemed gambling. Dining Options
There will be no shortage of food and bar options to choose from on property. Twelve signature restaurants include, Chyna Club (Cantonese cuisine), Cantina Contramar (Mexican cuisine), Dons Prime Steakhouse, ITO sushi, KYU (wood fired Asian cuisine), Komodo (Asian cuisine), LA Fontaine (champaign brunch), Mother Wolf Italian and Papi steak. Casual eats include Cafe Cuto, Chez Bon Bon (coffee & pastries), La Cote (French cuisine) The Tavern and Washing Potato Chinese eatery. There will be a promenade featuring an expansive food hall offering a variety of quick bites.
A Luxury Hotel And Convention Space
A luxury hotel will comprise of 3,644 rooms and suites. Standard rooms will average around 488 to 600 square feet offering 1 king or 2 queen beds with strip or mountain views. Guests looking for more space can opt for a suite with a king bed averaging 937 square feet. If feeling in the mood for luxury suites the 2,000 square feet suites come with a pool table, bedroom and living area. Guests can enjoy accommodations including a 14,000 square foot fitness center and 55,000 square foot spa. Large pools will not only feature plenty of seating options but offer a gaming lounge right by the pool. Convention attendees will have 550,000-square-feet of indoor-outdoor meeting space.
Nightlife
Vegas has a well known vibrant night life scene. At the Fontainebleau Las Vegas there are five bars to choose from along with two upscale lounges. The LIV Nightclub will provide a curated experience taking inspiration from Fontainebleau’s Miami nightclub. The pool area will feature the Bleau Isle club offering live DJ’s and poolside cocktails.

Developers and management at Fontainebleau are placing big bets on the sprawling mega property. The structure was initially constructed in 2007 and has faced financial difficulty throughout the process. After switching ownership which previously included Marriott Hotels, Fontainebleau Development will complete the property. The company currently operates the Fontainebleau Miami and have properties in the retail residential and luxury sectors. Rooms are bookable for December 13, 2023 and beyond as the property begins taking off.
