Amtrak is extending low fares on the increasingly popular Northeast Corridor (NEC) “Night Owl” service between Boston and New York. The Night Owl service operates on the NEC and stops at the same stations as typical Northeast Regional train would during the daytime. Night Owl trains operate between Washington, D.C. and New York departing between 7PM and 7AM. Amtrak will now offer the service between New York and Boston. Fares can be found for as low as $5 per passenger.
