Billy Bishop Airport, often referred to as “Toronto Island Airport” or “Port George VI Island Airport” is located on the Toronto Islands. The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) makes the airport easily accessible by public transit and drops you just a few steps away from the Ferry Terminal. You can take 509 Harbourfront or 511 Bathrust streetcar.

How do I get to Billy Bishop Airport for free?

The airport operator, Nieuport Aviation also offers a complimentary express bus shuttle that departs every 15 minutes. Located across the street from Union Street on York Street, the shuttle pick up is at the west side entrance of the Royal York Hotel. The complimentary shuttle will drop you at the main ferry terminal where you can take a quick ferry to the airport, or you can take the underground walkway to the airport. This service also operates from Billy Bishop to Union Station for free. Nieuport Aviation also offers  a great way to track the shuttle.
