The Chase Sapphire Lounge at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is the first lounge of its kind in the US and it opened on May 16, 2023
I was able to visit the Chase Sapphire Lounge on opening day at Boston Logan International Airport and was quite impressed! The lounge is a member of the The Club within the Priority Pass network located in Terminal B near Gate B40. To access the lounge, take the elevator up to the 4th floor.
Accessing the Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston
The lounge is open daily from 5:00 am to 11:00 pm EST. To access the lounge you will need a valid same day boarding pass and a flight within 3 hours of your arrival into the lounge and will be greeted by lounge attendants as you enter.
The Priority Pass card activated with the Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card and the Ritz Carlton credit card with Priority Pass activated allows for unlimited visits. You may bring up to 2 guests into the lounge with the primary and authorized users for no added charge. If you bring in more than two guests it’s a $27 per person additional charge. Priority Pass members through other networks besides Chase and Ritz Carlton may visit a Sapphire Lounge once per calendar year. Food & Beverage
The lounge offers two different self serving buffets of food. The day I visited it was featuring vegetable lasagna, lemon mascarpone parfait, roasted brussels sprouts, Korean BBQ chicken and a variety of desserts.
Once you get seated at a table you have the option to use the QR code to have food delivered to your table or other food options featured on their menu. I tried the kids grilled cheese meal and the Sapphire burger which was divine! I highly recommend trying the burger if you get a chance to visit the Chase Sapphire Lounge in Boston!
Within the lounge, the full service bar offered a few specialty local inspired cocktails:
- -First Lighthouse featuring gin, elderflower, honey and lemon
- -Revere cocktail with local rum, bitters and lime!
The lounge offers beer on tap featuring a few local IPAs, lagers, and local Boston cider! The Chase Sapphire Lounge Boston also offers a wellness water bar featuring flavored waters and coffee cold brew on tap alongside a barista machine for specialty coffee drinks.
Seating and Amenities
Undoubtedly, the lounge boasts exceptional views of the airfield at Boston Logan International Airport. This is truly an AvGeek’s dream to have great views overlooking Runway 4L-22R and 4R-22L with all the departing and arriving traffic into Boston Logan International Airport.
The lounge features relaxing spaces to work, plenty of seating, high speed free Wi-Fi, a family room, a wellness room booked via a QR code, and private showers.
Eventually, more Chase Sapphire Lounges will be opening soon in Las Vegas (LAS), New York LaGuardia (LGA), Philadelphia (PHL), Phoenix (PHX), and San Diego (SAN)!
