Spirit Airlines Launches Flights From Charleston

Spirit Airlines has added 4 new destinations from Charleston International Airport (CHS). On April 5, 2023 Spirit launched nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Newark (EWR) and Philadelphia(PHL). Starting September 7, 2023 Spirit will begin flights to Las Vegas (LAS) 5 times a week. The Las Vegas Route will be the only nonstop flight connecting the two city pairs. To celebrate the new routes from Charleston, Spirit is offering introductory one way fares as low as $99 on bookings between September 7, 2023 through October 18, 2023. Passengers flying out of Charleston who sign up for Spirit’s rewards program Free Spirit can receive double points for a limited time. More details can be found on spirit.com. Spirit Airlines is currently appealing a civil lawsuit from the United States Justice Department blocking a merger with JetBlue Airways. As the merger outcome remains unknown, Spirit is expanding their route network as such with Charleston.
