Delta Air Lines has increased route frequencies in and out of Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) adding 8 additional flights a day out of the airport for passengers attending the Masters Tournament. Delta Air Lines will operate flights to Augusta from their hubs in Atlanta (ATL), Detroit (DTW), and New York LaGuardia (LGA) between April 3 through April 10. In a press release from Delta, the airline estimates that they will fill nearly 5,000 seats into Augusta (AGS) between April 3 to April 8. Passengers flying into the airport will be treated to special golf themed dรฉcor in the airport as well as an interactive putting green. Delta Air Lines has entered a partnership with Patrick Cantlay, the 4th ranked top golfer in the world. As part of the partnership, the Delta Air Lines branding will be featured on Patrick Cantlay’s apparel throughout the Masters Tournament. Delta Air Lines has historically added additional route frequencies during special events such as CES Las Vegas as well as the Daytona 500 in Daytona Beach, Florida.
