European low cost carrier Ryanair has added 9 routes within the United Kingdom complimenting the airlines expanding route network. The domestic routes will be added to Ryanair’s summer 2023 schedule. New domestic routes in the UK include Belfast, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Edinburgh, East Midlands, London, Manchester and Newquay. The focused domestic expansion is a part due to the United Kingdom reducing the Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax in half for domestic routes. This in turn allows for more affordable travel for the consumer as well as an incentive for airlines to expand flights within the country. Flights are now available for booking on the Ryanair Website. The new route pairings on Ryanair’s domestic UK expansion will include:

- East Midlands
